2009 Mrs. Asparagus Queen Candidates

This year I have the honor to photograph the 2009 Mrs. Asparagus Queen Candidates for our county. It is truly a pleasure to spend some time with each of these ladies. It sounds funny but asparagus is serious business when you live in Oceana County. So serious that we have a national festival celebrating the harvest of it. Kate Miller & Eric Hedrick - Wedding

Eric and Kate were married in September of 2008 at Camp Pendaluon. What a great spot for an outdoor wedding. It was a awesome day and a beautiful wedding. I really enjoyed getting to know them! Thanks you guys!

Sadie Hawkins Dance

Last Saturday was the Sadie Hawkins Dance put on by the girls basketball team. There was a horrible winter storm so I think there were a few kids that could not come. All in all I think it was a fun night and everyone was glad it didn't get cancelled again. I was there taking formal pictures and had a chance to do some candid shots as well.

Lady Tigers

I decided to try and shoot some basketball games so last friday I went down to the school and watched the Varsity Girls put a hurtin' on Ravenna. It was fast action and more difficult than I thought. I still got some nice shots. I hope to continue to shoot more basketball games. Well done Lady Tigers!

Tough Guys of Shelby

I had the opportunity to shoot my first ever wrestling invitational. I found this quite fun! It was a long day and my body ached, but it was well worth it. I got some kick butt images of some of our toughest guys at Shelby. Shelby won the meet and made it look easy! Great job guys! This Band Rocks

I went to the Shelby/Hart Girls Basketball game last night and had fun taking photos of the band. Our high school band Rocks! They put out some AWESOME tunes for the fans at home games. Thanks for all your hard work!
